Shea Moisture

In yesterday's blog, I mentioned a product line called Shea Moisture. They have several different products for hair and skin. I was initially interested in the shampoo and conditioner. I did alot of research on these products before investing in them, which is always the case for me. I was pleased with the reviews I read. I purchased the Organic Raw Shea Butter Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner. These products are only sold in Walgreens and Target and they run about $9.99 each. Walgreens does have BOGO sales every now and then.

I washed my hair yesterday using the new products and I must say I am very pleased with the results. My hair felt clean and free of build-up. It was also easier to comb and detangle. The conditioner can be rinsed out or used as a leave-in. I chose to leave the conditioner in my hair because I feel like my hair lacks moisture. I put my hair in bantu knots to let it dry as usual and I'm loving the end result. I would definitely recommend these products to anyone for any hair type. Thanks for reading!!! Smooches

  1. Hi Mz Launa,
I thought your yesterday blog about going "natural" was very interesing. I have not been keeping track of how long I've been down this natural hair journey but it's been very close to a year now. I must admit I sort of cheat, my hair is purely natural under my sew-in, but natural all the same. With this being said I have a problem with very dry scalp because me scalp is hard to reach.
I've use carol daughter's product whenever I rememember to moisturize my scalp whenever I can't seem to control the itching.
Looking forward to your next blog.
